The Child-Friendly City Competition

Child-Friendly City Competition Description:

The Child-Friendly City Competition invites enthusiasts (architects, landscape architects, urban designers, urban planners, industrial designers, and related fields) to submit their works by the deadline of 1st of Ordibehesht, 1400, to the symposium secretariat.

The submitted files must be of high quality and excellence for detailed evaluation. Participants must provide their details, including full name, educational background and level (graduate or student), contact numbers (landline and mobile), and email address. For familiarization with the symposium and information on the topics eligible for submission in the works, please refer to the Symposium Topics section on the website.

The Ideal City for Children Symposium welcomes all interested individuals and all universities in the country to participate in this competition.

If conditions are conducive regarding pandemic control, an exhibition of the submitted works will also be held, which will be announced later.

The Child-Friendly City Competition will be held in two categories:

A- From Idea to Research:

In this section, the competition jury will review the submitted theses of applicants to select and introduce the top three theses (across all educational levels) in the field of child-friendly urban and spatial environments - in line with the symposium's themes. Submitted files must be in Word and PDF formats to ensure no issues arise in listing their details and introductions in the symposium booklet.

Enthusiasts - professionals in the field or other citizens - can submit photographs of urban space issues related to the symposium's theme in JPEG and PDF formats, with a minimum print size of A4, to the symposium's email. Each image should capture a significant challenge and be accompanied by a title. The title should be the same as the filename of the submitted image.
